Tristen Sosa
Tristen Sosa grew up in Orem, Utah, training at the world-renowned dance studio Center Stage Performing Arts. At a very young age, he started working in the industry, booking movies like “Dear Dumb Diary,” a Hallmark/Disney film, and dancing for NBA halftime shows with the Utah Jazz. Besides his commercial career, he has a strong ballroom dancing background, winning four national titles in Latin Ballroom. He has also appeared on many TV shows like this season's "So You Think You Can Dance" (season 17), "America’s Got Talent," "Live to Dance," and many more. At the age of 18, he had a critical life decision to make: accept a full-ride ballet scholarship to BYU, also known as Brigham Young University, or dance with Donny & Marie Osmond in Las Vegas. He decided to take the Donny & Marie show. Ever since moving to Las Vegas, he has had a leading role in helping shape and grow the ballroom community. He has taught ballroom at Bunker Dance Center, Millennium Dance Complex, Summerlin Dance Academy, and Base Dance Studio. Tristen currently travels back and forth from LA to Las Vegas, working alongside his agency Bloc, and collaborating with some of the best choreographers in the industry like Mandy Moore and Francisco Gella. He is also currently teaching with the LVA ballroom program alongside ballroom Director Mrs. Dickerson, as well as running his very own award-winning Ballroom program, Summerlin Ballroom, in Las Vegas.
